Getting It Goin

Maternity Photographs

With only a few days left with some really warm weather well really only one day or actually the last day of warm weather I got a chance to photograph one of my best friends from the days of the “Ultra Sonics” Javin and Yolanda. I photographed their wedding last August and now they are due with their first child in December. Just awesome day in November for maternity photographs. I definitely look forward to working with them on their baby first year program.

Teaching Photography at Bogan H.S.

So I started another chapter in life with teaching photography to High School Students. All I can say is I am a professional. . . but teaching is a whole different ball game. I was definitely not prepared for the disciplinary factor. I thought I teach students learn, well well well is all I can say. 5 more weeks if I make it to the end I will let you know all about it

Tribute to Dad

On October 7th my father passed away. My father taught me many wonderful lessons in life. Maybe the greatest was his death as it allowed me to apply all of his teachings that he gave me to life and most important to share and pass on the legacy to my son Shayne. My dad was there for me my entire life. Its hard not physically having him here, but his love, and wisdom and his wonderful spirit live on with me forever. I love you always dad!

Sugar Shayne

So my son has a new nick name. “Sugar Shayne,” give by my wife Stephanie. The name actually was taken from my father’s nick name that my mom told me he was called on the basketball court. My father played for the Harlem Globetrotters in the early days. He played on the traveling team that always played against the Trotters. ( I just love my Dad) His nick name on the team was Sugar Shayne for the sweet jump shot he had. For those of you who don’t know I played in college for 4 years and Dad definitely passed the talent on. So Shayne listen up buddy you got some big shoes to fill

He’s Here!!!!

He is finally here. To Stephanie and I our first child was born today at 1:58 at 6:lbs 12oz. He is sooo cute and has his eyes wide open. At first he did not want to come out so we had an emergency C-section. Well not to emergency it was our only alternative as someone did not want to come down the birth canal. Either way he is adorable.

We are Family!

Due to a cancelled wedding I was able to have one of the best family portrait sessions in a while. Many people do not know that I photograph more than just weddings (weddings, events, portraits, headshosts, children). Tricia, her family and friends were such a blast.
