This was on e of the weddings that my wife and I did where we really put some work into. Most people never see the wedding albums in the entirety so we wanted to share one that we have a copy of in the studio. We get such great feedback from the album so we wanted to share. We worked with Felicia Middlebrook (radio personality on news radio in the mornings). Felicia genuinely loved our work

Greek Love An Alpha/Delta Wedding

11.11.11 was a very busy day as well as the entire weekend. We had to Fraternity weddings on Friday and two more weddings on Saturday. Fellow Frat brother J Wiggins from OKC come in to photograph with me and we had a blast. Our wedding on Friday featured the Union of Lakita Little and Broderick Mckinney. I had the wonderful privilege this past year to photograph Arthur Nielsen Jr. Nielsen Co had gone public and he was being issued the first stock certificate. I met with Mr Nielsen in his Northbrook office with Vice Chair Susan Whiting. Mr Nielsen was a man with great character and I really enjoyed the conversation with him. Not many times are you able to meet someone who is a pioneer of modern day times and it was truly an honor being able to meet him

Packed House On Friday

Thanks to everyone on friday that came out. It was a great friday summer evening. We had tons of fun and the photo contest went will. Voting will be opening later today. We had a packed house and everyone enjoyed themselves. Thanks Niehla O for the shrimp dip. A-Ya to Ishmael Jones on the drums and Fred on the bass and T -Soul with the band for their outstanding play. We had to stop them from playing in order for people to go home. Sizzling Summer

This wedding season has been hot. Yes the weather has been hot but our brides are hotter. Take a look at some of the fabulous weddings that we have had this year and I have to say our brides had fund and really came ready to take photographs. We are always accepting applications for HOT Brides as we love to showcase them. Its Only July and still 3 good months of photographing left for weddings in the Chicago area. If its this hot now I cant wait for the end of September

2nd Fridays Live!!If you missed 2nd Friday in April you don’t want to miss May. We kicked off 2nd Fridays with a bang and we will continue through at least October even November based on the weather. Thanks to Desiree of Dejanae Events and congratulations on her new book Wedology!! I have provided a clip of the entertainment that we had and will have every 2nd friday. I am not a videographer but took this with my iphone. I think the clip shows the energy. At one point there was barely room to move as every one was grooving to the group Blended Soul. Laura and Doug – Chicago – Wrigley Field

So this had to be one of the coolest engagement sessions I have photographed. Laura flew in from Louisiana for the weekend to meet with her Fiance Doug. Of course everyone wants to be photographed downtown Chicago but no worries for Doug and Laura as their wedding is at the great St James Hotel. So where could we give a little twist? Well we called ahead and shut down the North side at Wrigley Field. We then finished up on the lake front with a beautiful breeze. Great job Doug and Laura!

Aric and Faith – Ven Sherrod Studio

We were so amped and excited about our engagement session downtown until the storm clouds rolled through. Faith had just got her make up done and no sooner than when she stepped in the studio fat rain drops started pouring down. I must admit I was disappointed as I had some new equipment that I wanted to test out that I have been waiting about 3 weeks to use. So with the fabulous studio that we have i decided to make it happen right there on our grounds. Rain or not. We produced some great images from a great couple that knew how to smile and get excited about their marriage. Thanks Faith and Aric

Melanie and Ishmael – Chicago IL – Druy Lane Theater

Ok so Melanie was just the beautiful gorgeous bride and Ishmael well he know it to so he did not bother with us making great photographs that day. Although the 1906 brother had a couple good shots himself they made a great couple!
